§ 13.08.160. Main extension policy.
A.
Any individual, firm, or corporation desiring an extension of the city water system to serve his private property shall pay the entire cost of extending the city water service to his property and shall deed to the city all water lines and improvements necessary for such extension.
B.
Any individual, firm or partnership desiring an extension of the city water system shall pay the cost of any oversizing which the city requires to serve any individual property as a result of any master plan adopted by the city for water service within or outside of the existing city limits.
C.
All extensions shall conform to city specifications.
D.
In the event any user is required to extend a main adjacent to land not owned or controlled by him, the city will negotiate a repayment agreement with the user which will allow such user to recoup as much of the cost of the extension between the boundary of his land and the nearest properly sized city water main as can be agreed upon.
